Embracing Diversity became an Incorporated Society on 8-Sep-2020, and since then we have:

  •  documented our Vision, Objectives, proposed Activities
  •  developed our Operating Cost budgets for next 12 months
  •  recruited a Committee and establishing formal Meetings
  •  registered as an Incorporated Society, lodged our Constitution with the Companies Office
  •  obtained IRD 'not-for-Profit' status, and Section DV8 Tax Exemption
  •  set up our website, email & social media channels
  •  developed our member Registration process and associated Forms
  •  applied for and receiving grants from ECDF and Lottery Canterbury
  •  Implemented internal Treasury Accounting functions
  •  Implemented our documented Child Protection Policy
  •  obtained NZPolice Approved Agency status, for Police Vetting of volunteers
  •  held an SGM on 8/02/2021 and our AGM on 10/05/2021
  •  completed annual Companies Office reporting, and ECDF reporting.
